This project was a significant challenge, requiring global accessibility and cultural inclusivity in every frame. I took charge of art direction and animation, collaborating with the talented team at MOV. The creative direction was shared with Pablo Domínguez, and Agustín Viguera contributed illustrations and animations.
Google entrusted us with creating a series of videos for their Global Educational Program on Digital Safety. The task was to design a communication and narrative style that would resonate with diverse global audiences from varied cultural contexts.
Rooted in Google's visual identity, we developed animated videos featuring illustrations that were simple, clear, and universally relatable. Characters and scenes were crafted with universal metaphors and a synthetic design language to ensure they could be easily interpreted worldwide.
To enhance accessibility, animations were designed with minimal text, facilitating rapid adaptation to local languages. The videos were localized into multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Danish, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Japanese, Malay, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Chinese.
This project was an exercise in precision and universality, showcasing the power of design to bridge cultural gaps and deliver impactful messages on a global scale.
